About The Rasmus
The Rasmus was formed in Helsinski in 1994 when all of the members of the band were still in high school. This Finnish rock band was originally composed of Lauri Ylonen, Euro Heinonen, Pauli Rantasalmi and Janne Heiskanen. In 1998, Heiskanen left the band and was replaced by Aki Hakala. They were originally known as Rasmus but they changed it into The Rasmus to avoid being mistaken as the famous DJ of Sweden who has got the same name.
