He first started his music career as the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band “Genesis”. However, he soon left Genesis and launched his own solo career, which turned out to be a successful one. Peter Gabriel had an extremely unique start to his solo career when he refused to name any of his first four albums. All these albums were simply titled “Peter Gabriel”.
