What kind of different tickets are there?
The most common tickets are:
General admission:
These tickets grant you general access to an event. Local conditions vary from venue to venue. Most often general admission tickets will give you access to the standing room. Some venues also offer possibilities to sit down, however this cannot be guaranteed.
Standing:
These tickets give you access to the standing room. Some events have different categories within the standing room. Should these be the case, the best standing tickets are marked standing category 1, the next best standing tickets are marked standing category 2, etc.
Seated:
These tickets give you access to the (usually unreserved) seating area. Some events offer seated tickets in different categories (seated tickets category 1, seated tickets category 2, etc.). These different categories are explained in detail at What is the difference between seating category 1 and 2?
At soccer games there are also the categories Seated Tickets Category 1: long sides (seats on the long side of the stadium) and Seated Tickets Category 2: short sides (seats on the short side of the stadium, behind the goals).
Passe-partout, weekend tickets, day tickets
These tickets grant you access to an event for a set period of time. A passe-partout is valid for the whole duration of an event (also numerous days if applicable). Weekend tickets are usually issued for festivals and are valid – as the name suggests – for the whole weekend. Please note that all weekend tickets are excluding camping, unless stated otherwise. Should you have questions regarding this, please contact our customer service team prior to ordering tickets. Day tickets are valid for one day of the event.
Some events handle specific ticket categories. We strive to indicate them as clearly as possible. Should you have any questions regarding the tickets, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department.
