What is the difference between seating category 1 and 2?
Budgetticket is a reseller of tickets – we connect the seller and the buyer of tickets. This means that we buy our tickets from other sellers or from customers that will not be able to attend the event. Due to this fact it is not always possible to tell the exact space or seat number upfront.
Since it is not yet possible for us to adapt the seat categories of each event as used at the venue, we have chosen to group our tickets into the following categories, unless stated otherwise.
The Budgetticket ticket category "seating category 1" usually represents the upper half of the categories used by the organiser. Respectively the Budgetticket ticket category "seating category 2" usually represents the lower half of the categories used by the organiser. (Example: If an organiser uses 6 different seating categories, the tickets of category 1,2 or 3 are offered by Budgetticket as seating category 1, while the tickets of category 4,5 and 6 are offered by Budgetticket as seating category 2.) If the organiser uses an uneven number of categories, the middle category usually belongs to Budgetticket's seating category 2.
Standing tickets, general admission tickets and other special ticket categories are excluded from this rule.
