However, after the success of their first album, their leader E experienced downs in his personal life. His father died and his sister committed suicide while his mother was suffering from lung cancer. Though totally depressed, this did not stop the band from creating their name. E used these situations to create another hit single – “Cancer for the Cure.” This song was featured in American Beauty. Once again, the band rose up especially cause the movie was able to help them with their album. The pain unfolded in this song was felt by many audiences who bought Eels tickets for their concert.

Eels Concert Tour
